All else is going well…you know exactly which horse you’re going to place your bet on, you’ve done all your research, and you’re ready to go. But one thing you might not have taken into consideration is the weather. How will the horses, the Aintree Racecourse, and the jockeys actually be affected by the huge amount of rain lashing down at the grand national? Good question. You never know. Many Grand National races have been affected by the elements - whether it is rain, wind or snow. So don’t forget that you should keep this factor - otherwise known as ‘the going’ - into consideration.
