Reserving Mormon buildings
How long have I been a Mormon and I just recently learned that you can reserve the mormon church for personal occasions? When my brother came back from Iraq, we had a gathering there where he talked about his experiences and had a cool slideshow, including a picture of him sitting in Saddam’s throne. They actually had meetings in his palace. I thought that was pretty amusing. Now I’m hearing more about family reunions being held in our mormon church buildings, luaus for children turning one, and 40th birthday parties. That’s pretty cool. I’m having urges to plan something just to say I did it.
