Flying Lanterns are put to a unusual function lately in the officeRecently after sporty backchat about the state of world rugby in the lunchroom Dave announced that it was NZ’s turn to win a good game of Rugby Football and he set down the challenge. Johan from S.A playfully answered “yeah for sure mate, when pig’s fly!”
Not one to sit around on his behind Dave took the challenge literally and during some downtime during the week he began crafting his retaliation to Johan’s remarks. The reaction, a aviating porker was released the next
upcoming friday afternoon as Dave had changed a pink skylantern to fit the goal.
Alas the flying Pig lantern did not prove a lucky charm for the All Blacks as they were knocked on home turf by a narrow 32-29 in another sore loss.
