Holiday in Denmark

So there I was, wondering around a strange land that I only decided to go to at the last minute. I didn’t even have time to visit a foreign foreign currency exchange before I left. But anyway sometime the impulsive last minute decisions are the most rewarding. I hadn’t been to Denmark before and it is not the clichéd tourist destination. But I always liked Danes – less cold than other Scandinavians, with more passion and with more smiles. Copenhagen was very tidy and whilst small compared to London, big enough for a capital. The Danes are all very polite and likeable – a good mix of liberal but sensible. It is expensive – a pint will cost you a good fiver which isn’t good for the average UK beer boy, but then that may be one of the advantages – you’ll not get the drunken British hooligan we have in many locations!
