You should choose your materials wisely. If you do not have a huge budget, wood would probably be best. When using wood, make sure it is pressure treated. If you have a larger budget you may want to use aluminum or vinyl. This will also make your pergola low maintenance. Make sure you mark the area ahead of time and measure everything correctly. If you follow these simple tips and ideas then you should be able to build a beautiful pergola.
