Residential Solar Genator - Power Outages
I just received a notice from PG&E (Pacific Gas and Electric) that they’re going to shutting down power in my neighborhood for 5 hours or so, in order for them to service or replace a electrical transformer. Nowaways, I telecommute as part of my employment because of the convenience and high gas prices. Having the power out for over half the work day, is going to negatively impact my employee productivity. Perhaps I should take this opportunity and invest in a portable residential solar generator. I would be doing my part in saving the environment and be prepared in case there are anymore power outages.
