Heart of the Home Dining

My siblings and I decided to re-decorate the living room. It reminded us too much of our mother who had passed away last week. She spent most of her time staying in the living whether she was reading a book or cleaning it or making something new. Some of mom’s handmade items decorated the living. There was a quilted throw on the sofa which she had made just last month. She also made our window drapes and the pillow covers. She never bought anything that she could make herself; she said it was a waste of money. We had to redecorate the living room because it was too painful to see it that way without mom.
