Learning about your dog

A new dog is an awesome experience. It is like bringing a new member into the family in many ways. Although they don’t require as much care as a child, pets you require your attention regularly. And it is important that they are not neglected. Dogs are pack animals and like to be around you much of the time. Dogs also need exercise and regular socialization. What is interesting to me is how you learn different things about your pet over time. Also, in the case of dogs, they change over time as they become more comfortable with you and your family. Some of their behaviors will come and go. For example our new dog did not bark at all when she first came to the house. But now she has been there for about four months, and she is starting to make some barks at appropriate times. I’m thinking it’s because she’s become comfortable with her surroundings and with us. But this took a matter of time. And you need to give your dog the space to become comfortable because it will take some time.TThey need to become confident that you will take care of them and feed them and then you will see their confidence grow.
