Risks of Laser Mole Removal

Noninvasive surgery such as laser mole removal can be performed with local anesthesia or without anesthesia. Some procedures may require general anesthesia though, and this always poses risks. Infection is the biggest risk that noninvasive surgery can have in most cases and the risk is minimal compared to other kinds of surgical procedures. To further minimize the risk of infection, gloves and sterilization materials are to be used. There is also a possible risk for incomplete treatment of the problem such as pain, bleeding, scarring, and skin color changes. Scarring is not that big a risk for this procedure and any skin discoloration may decrease over time.
