LPN Scope of Practice

A LPN is expected to take readings of blood pressure and other critical functions of life for a patient. This no doubt, is one of the important functions of a LPN. The LPN Scope Of Practice may vary depending on the requirements of the healthcare organization. In typical cases, this would include the LPN playing an observation-provider role to the doctor. In this role, the LPN would not only record the observations of critical life functions of the patient, but will also provide her observations to the doctor.
