How to Help an Alcoholic
If you want to help an alcoholic then the first thing you should is to suggest that they get to rehab. Most alcoholics will not be receptive to this idea at first so you might have to be patient. Sometimes the best we can do is offer to help and let them know that we are there for them.
If you really want to know how to help an alcoholic then you should consider attending an Al-Anon meeting. The people there are very good at dealing with a family member or friend who is an alcoholic and they can give you guidance and direction.
