Hemroids, sometimes called piles, are swelling and inflammation of the veins in the rectum and anus.

There are hemroid remedies or hemroid treatment that may be done at home.  Sitting in a warm tub, or Sitz bath, for about 10 compress may help relieve hemroid pain.  Another hemroid treatment is wiping it clean with a moistened pad in order to lessen irritation.  You may also use ice pack, covered by a towel, to reduce inflammation and pain.  Over-the-counter cream may also be used to relieve pain.  For bleeding hemroids, you may use water laced with two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar at every meal.
