He Would Not Let Us
My dad came out to the city to visit my wife and I a few weeks ago, and while he was here, I noticed that he was having some lower back pain. I offered to let him have our bed, and we would sleep on the air mattress, but he wouldn’t let us do such a thing. He told me that there was no way that he was going to make my wife and I sleep on the floor of our own apartment. I felt bad for letting him sleep on the floor, but there was no way that he would ever sleep in the bed.
