Acupressure and EFT for Self-Healing

Acupressure and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) are two easy to learn systems of self-healing that treat many emotional and even physical ailments. Both use the same pressure points and meridians (energy systems of Chinese medicine) used in acupuncture, but without the needles. EFT is especially simple and gentle, as it only involves a gentle tapping motion. Still, it has been found to be very effective at releasing long-standing emotional problems. Acupressure involves pressing on similar points for a certain amount of time. The theory in both cases is that the energy centers are stimulated, allowing for the healing process to begin. EFT and Acupressure are both fairly easy to learn and can be surprisingly effective for a wide range of issues.
