Ab Workout: Reverse Curl with Mini Exercise ball
This ab workout is very good for strengthening and flattening your tummy. With the movement of the feet, your tummy is pushed in and your abdominal muscles contract. For this exercise you need a mini exercise ball. You can find mini exercise balls in most fitness stores. It is an inflatable ball not bigger than 12 inches. Mini ab workout balls give good resistance to floor exercises. If you cannot find a mini exercise ball, you can use any small plastic ball or a light pillow.
When doing this exercise, don’t jerk your feet up to your chest. Tighten your abs first. You can control the movement of your feet with contracted abs. You will also avoid lower back pain when you tighten your abs. Again, use contract your abs when you are raising you tailbone. When you are lifting your tailbone, you should feel your lower back pressing against the floor and your middle spine gently curling. Keep the mini exercise ball between your knees.
