I am a person that worries about everything. I often worry about downloading programs on the Internet. I try to do as much research as possible to avoid a virus. My wife was overjoyed with her earrings and to this day I call her my Garnet Princess.

Ryan and I had our first date five years ago and have now been married for three. We have our first baby coming soon and we want to make a home movie to record the event. I have some pictures I put together and I have just found the best song ever, it’s Creed’s song “With Arms Wide Open”, I think it expresses what we are both feeling right now and what we hope that our soon to be bay will take from this life. We want above all things from him to live a life that is filled without fear and to understand that we will always be on his side.

What a surprise I got recently from my Mother.  For my birthday, she gave me a beautiful ring that is considered the new trend in jewelry design.  It is called socially responsible jewelry.  It is made with recycled metals and man made gem stones. It is one of the most lovely rings I have ever owned. Extraordinary craftsmanship is quite obvious and the unique design is so lovely. The irony is how many compliments I have received over this ring.  The best part about social responsible jewelry is that the environment is not devastated nor a community.  That is a gift in itself.   

I absolutely adore the Halloween season.. I always have Halloween parties every year. A lot of the fun is looking at the costumes everyone is wearing, be it my girls or strangers. I do admit that figuring out my own costume seems to always be the trickiest part! Cyndi Lauper Retro Halloween Costumes are high on my list this year because the retro look seems to be the in thing. Cyndi Lauper was my favorite video star back in the 1980s. Back then I never did go out as her, or any punk rock girls for Halloween, but hey it’s never too later right? *does a Cyndi Lauper dance*

Some folks who live near (but obviously do not attend) a Fayetville (North Carolina) church are being awakened and annoyed by the church music coming from the ongregation at Covenant Love Family Church on Sunday mornings. While it’s joyful noise to the members of the church, neighbors are petitioning city hall to have the volume turned down. One neighbor states she likes to sleep in on Sundays, but the music starts before 8:00 am. On Tuesday evenings (choir practice) and Wednesday evenings (mid-week services) she dreads going home from work at all, as the music drowns out her ability to watch television.

My sister and I belong to our church’s youth group, and we go out on many of the spiritual outings with all of the kids, as often as we can. We both recently wished to learn how to play the guitar, so that while out with the youth group, we would have a better time singing of spiritual music and praising God through song. We found an ideal set of lessons on the web in the form of video lessons, which would also teach us the guitar from the Christian point of view. We bought the videos and we are now both enjoying learning Christian guitar lessons.
