The Veterans of War
In a lifetime, there have been hundreds to thousands of listed and unknown wars that happened from various parts of the world. One of the most well known wars in history is the World War I. Also known as the Great War and War to End All Wars, World War I has generated roughly 40 million casualties, both in civilians and military group. Those servicemen and women that have lived the most chaotic era in mankind are called the veterans of war.
Since the World War I happened from 1914 to 1918, almost all veterans were gone and have served their purpose in their respective countries. At present, the veterans of modern war are those who have fought in contemporary battles. These servicemen and women are continuously receiving special citations and great benefits that include financial help provided and granted by their own government.
