Look for Discounts on Homeowners Insurance
Did you know that you can get at least a 5% discount on your home owner insurance policy simply by having a smoke detector in your home? This is not the only discount that is available to you. If you believe that you are not getting all of the discounts which you qualify for, call your insurance agent and review your policy. If you have taken precautions to make your home more resistant to storms, tell your insurance agent about it. This can lead to nice deductions in your premium because these types of additions can decrease your home’s susceptibility to damage.
