Heart of the Home Dining

My husband and I were going out to dinner for our anniversary. We were going to a fancy restaurant that neither of us had ever been to. It was a place that friends had recommended to us. When my husband was gathering his clothing and accessories for our evening out, he was unable to find one of his cufflinks. He searched high and low, but he was missing one of them. I hadn’t purchased an anniversary gift for him yet, so I bought him a new set of cufflinks. I had been telling him, for weeks, that I already had his gift. When he opened the box, he asked me how I knew that a cufflink was missing. I laughed and admitted that I had just bought his present earlier that same day.
