In the process of creating the hybrid electric car, the most important part is the energy saving and the environmental protection. But hybred cars need to maintain a certain level of performance to be viable option and they need to be affordable as well.
The hybrid electric car evolved from the original electric car. The main disadvantage of the electric car is that its dependent on the batteries and therefore has limited range and is not a viable alternative to conventional cars which is why they were not successful. The hybrid electric car is a combination of an electric motor and a gasoline engine.
