Does anyone know of a good car insurance company who will reward you for careful driving as a named driver on another car? I passed my driving test about 3 years ago and until now haven’t been able to afford my own car and have been driving my mum’s. I haven’t made in claims since I have been driving but am worried that I am not going to get credit for it because it is my mum’s policy and therefore she is one building up the no claims bonus. I heard that there might be a few car insurance companies in Ireland that offer discounts for named driving insurance but am not sure where best to look for them. It would be great if I could find a few of them and get some quotes because it seems so unfair that you don’t get any credit for careful driving when you are a named driver on some one’s policy.
